To help you start with setting up remote teaching, we have decided to already make this site available. Due to current developments surrounding the coronavirus and national measures taken, Leiden University has decided as of Monday, March 23, 2020, that all degree programs and associated courses will move to remote teaching and assessment as soon as possible. This remote teaching and assessment will apply until the end of this academic year.
This overview provides information about types of activities for remote teaching, how to use tools such as Brightspace, Blackboard, and Kaltura to support remote teaching, as well as ideas for alternatives outside the learning management systems and what more to take into account while developing sustainable teaching solutions to offer student-centered learning experiences.
The Leiden University website gives updates for staff and students to stay up to date with general information and updates regarding the coronavirus. This site is updated daily.
