Forms and Activities for Remote Teaching
This chapter offers guidance on how common teaching practices can be transitioned to remote teaching. It thereby offers links to common tools supported by Leiden University and to external sources.
While converting traditional teaching methodologies to ones that can be offered remotely, it is important to consider the programme’s learning goals as well as the new context you and your students are going to work in. Realize that types of activities you were used to for your student’s learning goals in the traditional context, may not fit the remote teaching situation, so simply transforming all your lectures to video call sessions, is probably not going to work out. In this section we provide an overview of different teaching activities and software that you can use to actually get all your learning goals into practice.
